HTPC Setup

This is how I am setting up a basic HTPC is structured using Ubuntu. I have a Intel Pentium G 3258 3.2 GHz, 16 gig ram, about 8 terabytes of disk storage. I was thinking about adding an additional gigabit nic load balancing, but I am still deciding.

Never try to install Sickbeard or CouchPotato as a service on a automounted drive in Ubuntu

After I installed SickBeard and CouchPotato, I really like them. I did not like that I had to manually start them each time. So I followed their guides on how to start them as a service. When I restarted my computer, they were not running. The hard drive that they existed on either was not mounted or had "1" appended to the back of it. I finally figured out that SickBeard and CouchPotato was creating their directories before the auto-mount was running. So when the auto mount for the drive was running the directory already existed and would either fail or append the "1" to the back of the mount point.
